I was sitting behind a young mother and her very young daughter, probably age 3 during a weekday Mass today. All through Mass, mom would point out the stained glass windows, the statues of Mary and Jesus on the cross, very quietly, but it was something to keep the 3 year old occupied.
Finally, after communion and the priest had taken his seat and we all sat down, I could hear this tiny little voice sing-song out, "Jes-sus, I lov-ve youuuuu!!!
So sweet!
